Macon County Parks & Recreation is made up of several locations to serve our citizens.
Macon County Recreation Park (Allman Drive)
Little League & Senior League baseball fields, softball field, outdoor pool (seasonal June-August), large shelter with grills, playground, 6 tennis courts, basketball court.
1288 Georgia Road Facility
Biddy League softball field, shelter, walking trail,
4 shuffleboard courts, 2 horseshoe areas, volleyball court.

Parker Meadows Complex
4 adult league fields, 4 youth league fields, batting cages, fitness trail, multi-use court/pavilion, river access.
Other Parks
Cullasaja Park (multiuse field) and Cartoogechaye Park (multiuse field, greenway).
Library Services
The Macon County Public Library counts nearly 22,000 people as registered users. While books remain the heart of the library's holdings, the 62,000-volume collection also includes less traditional materials, such as books on tape and videos. The Macon County Public Library is part of the Fontana Regional Library system.
